In The Silence

This morning, let’s praise the Lord even if we don’t feel it. Even if we feel like we are a million miles away.

Let’s face it, there are times when we feel like David felt. When we feel like God is silent and distant.

Praise Him anyway.

Remembering that our faith is more than a feeling or an emotion

Praise Him. Worship Him. Adore Him. Remember His promises. Remember all that He has done for you. All that He has brought you through.

Today, let’s praise Him anyway. Let your praises pierce the silence. And soon you’ll realize He’s been right here beside you all along.

Praise the Lord.

How long, Lord?
Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Look on me and answer,
Lord my God. Give light to my eyes,
or I will sleep in death,
and my enemy will say,
“I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.
