Old Lazy Dog brings a different view of faith, life, and the struggles we face in the marketplace and our day to day lives…while we strive to go deeper in our faith walk, put our faith to work, and see God at work around us on a daily basis.

“I lift up my eyes to you,
to you who sit enthroned in heaven.
As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,
as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress,
so our eyes look to the Lord our God,
till he shows us his mercy.
Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us,
for we have endured no end of contempt.
We have endured no end
of ridicule from the arrogant,
of contempt from the proud” - Psalm 123 NIV

Today, let’s take a moment to thank God for His mercy.

Let’s thank Him for how He hears from heaven as we expectantly wait on Him and His help… and His mercy.

Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us!

We are fallen and we live in a fallen place, in fallen times.

We constantly turn our back and walk away from you and your precepts… even your grace and your loving kindness.

Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us.

O Lord, thank you for your love and your grace… and your mercy.

O Lord, help our hearts, like that of the prodigal son, return to you and your love, your grace… and your mercy.

Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us.

Amen

Keep the Faith… Carpe Diem
