Overflow

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” - Romans 15:13 NIV

Today’s verse is my prayer for all of us and for the world around us this coming year.

To overflow is to go beyond filling something with a liquid, so that it gushes over the edges.

My prayer for us is that we become so filled with joy and peace… that we can’t help but overflow with hope.
