Melting Ice

Sometimes you see, read or hear something and you know deep down in your being that it’s not the truth, that it is misleading, that its just plain a bunch of junk. So you ignore it and walk away. Heart hardened a bit more.

But then there are moments where you see, read or hear something and you know in your heart of hearts that it is the truth. Doubts diminish and disappear. Hardened hearts soften like melting ice. You might have a hard time explaining or understanding it, or wrapping your mind around it. But somehow you know that it is the truth. And this truth strikes up a passion from deep inside. Which then causes you to want to share that truth to all that will hear or see or read it.

Today’s passage did just that to me. Somehow deep in my heart of hearts. Deep in the depths of my soul, I know that I know that this is the Truth.

"We have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God." - 1 John 4:14-15 NLT

May your eyes be opened, your heart touched and ice melted today.
