The Day After

Ever wonder what the day after was like for Mary & Joseph - and the new born Baby? 

Was it still full of wonder and joy... even after the star... even after all had come and gone?

How about today... what’s the day after like for us?

For me, there are so many things I wish I could have given folks for Christmas: 

Hope in hopeless situations... 
Joy in sad times... 
Healing in dire health needs... 
Reconciliation in broken marriages... 
Peace in the midst of the storm... 
Light in a dark place... 

But only Jesus can do that... only Jesus

Don’t leave Jesus in the manger.
Nor on the cross 
Nor in the grave.
Don’t just remember Him at Christmas 
Or at Easter.
He is the Promised One. 
The risen Savior. 
The King of kings and the Lord of lords.
The Son of God and the Son of man.
Learn from Him
Pray to Him.
Walk with Him.
Ask Him to lead you
To guide you.
To forgive you
To help you 
He is all you’ve heard that He is…
And more.
