The Lord Reigns

The Lord reigns,
let the nations tremble;
he sits enthroned between the cherubim,
let the earth shake.
Great is the Lord in Zion;
he is exalted over all the nations.
Let them praise your great and awesome name—
he is holy.

The Lord reigns. 
Sometimes we forget that. 
Or at least I do.

Sometimes I think that I reign. 
At least that’s what my thoughts and actions say…
at least sometimes.

Through all that is going on these days (wars, political division, economic turmoil, fires and tornadoes, hate and racism, etc) and all that has been effected, let’s remember that the Lord Reigns. 
Let’s remember that He reigns over heaven and earth. 
Let’s remember that He is the God of order, not chaos.
The God of good and not evil.

Let’s remember that “He is God and I am not.”
Remember that He is in control and He is in charge.
Let’s remember that His timing is greater. 
His timing is perfect.

Through price fluctuations, news alerts, disappointments, fears, frustrations and failures, let’s remember God’s promises. 
Let’s remember that He is bigger than any war, any division, any economic rollercoaster or anything else we may face.

Choose Worship over Worry
Choose Faith over Fear
Choose Peace over Panic
Choose Love over Hate

Let’s meet with Him on our knees and worship Him.
Let’s exalt His name over all the nations.

Let’s Pray
And Praise Him
For He is holy and worthy of our praise.

The Lord reigns, let the nations tremble…
