Any Other Day

Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe,
praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Today is Wednesday.
A day much like any other day.
A day with its own set of stressors, frustrations, disappointments.
A day with its own set of positives, laughter, happy moments.

Today is Wednesday.
A day after Tuesday.
And this week, the day after the day after a three day weekend.

Today is Wednesday.
Worship Wednesday
A day of the week where we stop for a moments and Praise God, from whom all blessings flow.
A day where we purposely praise Him for who He is, for what He has done, for what He is yet to do.

On this Worship Wednesday, stop for a moment and remember all that He has done for you.
Think back on the many answered prayers.
Those moments He held you as you stood.
Stood by you as you stood alone.
Held you in your fear.
Celebrated with you as you danced upon the mountain top.
Wiped your tears away when you wept.
Laughed with you when you laughed.

Today is Wednesday... not your ordinary day after all.

On this Worship Wednesday... for what do you praise Him?
